We have a New Dominant  Champion at Ruthdales winning his third and Crowning CC - Ch. Ruthdales Ready To Rule (RAR) aged 20 months undefeated in all classes competed in from Puppy to the adult classes.  Ch. RAR is class act and we would like to thank David Osborn (Buckridge) & Carol Laubscher (Regalia) for helping put this Great breeding together to produce Rar.

 

Making his Championship Debut in Real Spectacular fashion was the very appropriately named Ruthdales U Can't Touch This (Ai) sired by the great producer Am. Ch. Ruthdales Knockout at Buckridgetwo.  Boo proved what we have been watching since this puppy was a baby and we had great confidence in his great attributes and abilities of this puppy from day 1.  Thank you Boo for proving that self praise is no recommendation and you only get out of something what you put into it.  Thank you breed judge Mrs Webb for awarding Boo Best Puppy In the Breed and to Mr Albert Wight for awarding Boo Puppy Group 2.

Crufts 2007 The World Greatest Dog Show - Ruthdales Ready To Rule Co-owned by Chris McLean. RAR proved he was Ready to Rule at just 18 months Old winning against the Best competition in the UK & some of the Europe's Top Akitas.  This was our defining moment as as a kennel to see our dogs dominate the dog competition as Ch. Ruthdales Regime Change JW wins Res Winners Dog and Reserve CC at this prestigious show.  We had an electric atmosphere around the breed ring with Top judges and many breed enthusiasts from around the world watching.  The Judge of the day Mrs Elizabeth Dunhill was not only a Breed specialist but one of the most knowledgeable and well recognized breeders and Top exhibitors in the World today whose opinion meant so much to me.

Firstly I would like to thank my fiancé Janet for handling RAR so professionally, they looked great together as Janet showed off his breed type and movement.

I would like to thank and compliment Faye Bevis (Stecal) in my opinion the Best UK handler in the business who piloted Ch. Zak so well to his great win in Open Dog where every dog placed was a Champion.

And Thank you Mrs Dunhill for expert opinion and exciting ring manner which made Crufts 2007 so memorable for us !

 

Ruthdales Look Don't Touch at Stecal Bred by Janet Armstrong & Matthew Bostock Co-owned with Carol & Faye Bevis  makes her debut at the Akita Association show UK and proves what a 'Real Star she is by winning Best Puppy In Show at just 6 months and 2 days Old.  This is the first litter that Janet and I have bred together and I believe this to be the first Akita litter to make it to a British Show Ring born from AI.

Watch for the litter brother that we kept Ruthdales U Can't Touch This - making his debut in the near future.

Wow another Great Day it was time to let  Ruthdales Ready To Rule Sired by Am. Ch. T'Stones Raja Regalia On Buckridge ROMXP x Ch. Ruthdales Personal Vendetta (RAR) at only 15 months Old making his Championship Dog Show Debut.  Rar was shown once at 6 months at the Akita Specialty were he won Best Puppy Dog In Show and Res Best dog in show at this tender age.  Rar follows up with another Superb performance by winning CC & Best Of Breed + Group 2.  Watch for this special boy in 2007.

The Prestigious Richmond Championship Dog Show

Ch. Ruthdales Regime Change JW (Zak) & his beautiful Ch. daughter Ch. Melodor Mamacita (Emma) do the double with Ch. Zak taking Best of Breed.  Zak went on to also win the Utility Group under Top All rounder judge Mrs. Coxall & then went on to become the first akita this year to Win Reserve Best in show under Top All Rounder Mr Terry Nethercott from an entry of over 9000 dogs.  Thank you to to the three judges who could see Ch. Zak for the Great dog he is.  And to all of our supporters who stayed to watch Zak in the Group.

Crufts 2006 - The World Greatest Dog Show

Open Dog - What a class! With 10 Champions in attendance and numerous other quality exhibits also competing the competition was fierce! I was thrilled to compete against the best competition in UK & in the Best Open Dog Class I have seen in years !!!  The Interest in the breed ring was evident as there were crowds of people many from all over the world.

Ch. Ruthdales Regime change JW (Zak) was the youngest dog in Open dog, but that did not faze my Pride and Joy he had his chance to shine in front of crowds and he took it . Zak Came 1st in the Open Dog Class in style and went on to win The CC and Title of The Best Dog At Crufts 2006.  This is the second year running a Ruthdales bred dog has won the Dog CC at Crufts.  Thank you to all the Akita fans out there who supported me on another great day.

Congratulations to Junior Dog Winner  Ozashi Belongtomikki sired by Ch. Ruthdales Regime Change JW x Ruthdales Another Vendetta owned by Paul & Mikki Dewis who won his final points for his junior warrent on the day.

Congratulations to Zak's beautiful daughter produced from his first litter  Ch.Melodor Mamacita JW owned & bred by Chris Mclean (Melodor Akitas) who won Limit Bitch and went on to wins Reserve CC this was a great achievement as Emma is 18 months Old on the day !!!!

At only 6 months old Ruthdales Ready To Rule (RAR) Sired by Am Ch. T'stones Raja Regalia on Buckridge x Ch. Ruthdales Personal Vendetta made a Fantastic debut to his show career, RAR won the Minor Puppy Dog Class at the Akita Association Show, then Went on to win Best Puppy Dog in Show & Also Reserve Best Dog in show under Mr Rodney Oldham, this was a great result as there were numerous Champions CC + reserve CC Winners in attendence.

National Show Spain
Making her Ring Debut in Spain at Sevilla National show Lorraine Bates Ruthdales The Kings Prodigy won Best Puppy in Breed + Best Puppy in Group + Best Puppy In Show at the Spanish National Show. The very next day she won Best Puppy in Breed + Best Puppy in Group + Best Puppy In Show at the Spanish International Show.
